Philip Odonkor is a Therapy Medical Physicist currently practicing with One Physics LLC in the United States, where he provides clinical physics support across multiple radiation oncology centers. He holds a Master’s degree in Medical Physics and has developed expertise in radiation therapy physics, treatment planning, quality assurance, radiation safety, and advanced oncology technologies.

 

Philip has clinical experience working with linear accelerators, image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), and quality management processes in modern radiotherapy practice. His professional interests include clinical medical physics, radiotherapy optimization, patient safety, and the advancement of cancer care delivery in resource-limited settings.

 

Key milestones in his career include serving as the Radiation Safety Officer at the National Radiotherapy Centre, KBTH, and transitioning into clinical radiation oncology practice in the United States, where he supports multi-site oncology services under One Physics LLC. He remains passionate about contributing to the growth of medical physics education, research, and clinical excellence both internationally and within Ghana’s oncology community.
