Linus Owusu-Agyapong is a Clinically Qualified Medical Physicist working at the Radiology Unit of the Kumasi South Hospital (Ashanti Regional Hospital) and on a part-time at the Oncology Directorate, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
He had his bachelor’s degree in Physics at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2012 and his MPhil in Medical Physics in 2016. He has worked at the Oncology Directorate, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, and Sweden Ghana Medical Center before permanently moving to Kumasi South Hospital (Ashanti Regional Hospital).
He has attended workshops and conferences both locally and internationally. His research interests are in using protons and heavy ions in radiation therapy and keeping doses minimal for diagnostic imaging whiles maintaining quality images.
He hopes to be an authority in Medical Physics training in the years to come.
